UCC congratulates Natalka Cmoc on appointment as Canada’s Ambassador to Ukraine
August 24, 2023. OTTAWA, ON. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) warmly congratulates Her Excellency Natalka Cmoc on her appointment as Canada’s Ambassador to Ukraine. The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced the appointment on August 24.
“On behalf of the Ukrainian Canadian community, I congratulate Ambassador Cmoc on her appointment. I am certain that her experience, dedication and skill will be of great service to Canada,” stated Alexandra Chyczij, National President of the UCC. “Ambassador Cmoc assumes her appointment at a time when the Ukrainian people are bravely defending their country and the freedom of Europe from Russia’s genocidal war. We look forward to working closely with Ambassador Cmoc on Canada’s continued support for the Ukrainian people.”
