RST are world leaders in the design, manufacturing and sale of geotechnical, environmental and structural monitoring instruments. Their 60,000 sq ft. facility incorporates the latest in CAD, CAM, and CNC manufacturing techniques and includes an electronics lab, R&D facilities and customized assembly lines.

SURF Architecture worked closely with RST senior management to design the expansion of their main facilities. To accomplish this, an industrial storage building, adjacent to their HQ building was completely overhauled to house a new training centre with seminar rooms, an instrumentation manufacturing lab with a kiln room, warehouse storage with engineered racking, a staff break room and washroom facilities.
