Roman Murnieks, Grade 11 student

Roman’s contributions to SURF Architecture during his three-week work experience in November 2023 were invaluable. He played an instrumental role in painting and constructing the company’s mural, which comprised 89 separate mosaic tiles. Roman mixed paint to create 18 different colours that were used to bring the mural to life. He also made significant contributions to the Bloom project by skilfully recreating floorplans for the two buildings using dwg files in Revit. His attention to detail and skill set were vital in ensuring the success of both tasks. Roman’s work ethic, dedication, and passion for his craft made him an invaluable asset to the SURF Architecture team.
