Mulgrave School Southlands Rezoning

In 2014, Mulgrave School acquired a parcel of land south of the original campus that was originally zoned for single-family residential use.

In tandem with the Development Permit Amendment for the East Addition to the main school, SURF Architecture and Cornerstone Architecture worked with the District of West Vancouver to prepare a rezoning application for the Southlands.

The future uses for the land include a new junior playfield, overflow vehicular parking and an access road which will be tied-into the overall pedestrian circulation system planned for the campus. The site planning and amenity configurations recognize the topographic constraints and environmental sensitivities of the site while respecting the natural setting surrounding the Mulgrave Campus.
