TRIUMF ISAC II Expansion

ISAC II is a 5575 square meter facility at the TRIUMF particle research campus at UBC. At the facility, the beams from the cyclotron are directed onto a target, where reactions produce exotic short-lived atomic nuclei that do not normally exist on earth.
At ISAC II the beam is accelerated to higher energies through accelerators in an experimental hall.
